Industry Applications
Industries
From prototype development to repeat production, YJCNC machines precision CNC components for OEMs in medical, aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, robotics, and electronics. Use this hub to decide what to send in an RFQ, which certificates may apply, and then open an industry page — new child pages appear automatically in the list below.
Buying criteria
How to choose an industry machining partner
Industry pages describe typical parts. The decision to award a shop usually comes down to drawing fit, certificate scope, and how cleanly they handle revisions — not a longer list of market logos.
Drawing and process fit
Match tolerances, features, and materials to milling, turning, turn-mill, or Swiss capacity. Ask how similar parts were inspected — not only whether the shop “serves” your industry name.
Certificate scope, not logos
ISO 13485, AS9100D / EN 9100, and IATF 16949 only help when your part type and site sit inside the printed scope. Request the current certificate PDF early for regulated programs.
Change control & communication
Prototype-to-production paths need clear ECO handling, material lot traceability where required, and one technical contact who can answer drawing questions without delay.
Inspection evidence
Define FAIR / FAI, CMM, or attribute sampling up front. Shops that ask for ballooned prints and critical characteristics usually quote more accurately on regulated work.
Volume realism
Mid/small-batch CNC is a different quote than high-volume dedicated lines. Share annual demand and lot size so fixtures, tooling, and lead time match the real program.
Finishing & supply chain
Anodize, passivate, heat treat, plating, and special processes often sit with approved vendors. Confirm who owns those steps and what certs travel with the shipment.

RFQ checklist
What to send for regulated and OEM programs
A complete package shortens review cycles for medical, aerospace, and automotive work — and still helps industrial, robotics, and electronics quotes land closer to the first reply.
| Include | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| 2D drawing + 3D model | Tolerances, GD&T, and features drive process choice and inspection planning |
| Material & temper / grade | Stock availability, heat treat, and cert requirements (e.g. mill certs, RoHS) |
| Finish & special processes | Anodize, passivate, plating, heat treat — note if you have approved vendors |
| Quantity & forecast | Prototype vs repeat lots changes fixtures, tooling amortization, and lead time |
| Quality package needed | FAIR/FAI, CMM report, CoC, material certs, PPAP elements if automotive |
| Applicable QMS expectation | ISO 13485 / AS9100D / IATF — we confirm against the printed certificate scope |
| Application notes | Cleanliness, marking, packaging, or end-use constraints that are not on the print |
Send the package via the form at #quote. If you are unsure which industry page fits, start with the drawing — we will route it to the right review.
Quality systems
Certificates that often map to industry work
Use certificates as a filter, then verify scope on the current document. Base QMS is ISO 9001; environmental management is ISO 14001. Industry-specific systems apply only within their printed scope.
- ISO 13485 — medical device machining programs where bone-fixation / listed scope applies.
- AS9100D / EN 9100 — aerospace mechanical parts within civil-aircraft related scope.
- IATF 16949 — automotive machining where the Dongguan IATF scope applies.
- ISO 9001 + ISO 14001 — industrial, robotics, electronics, and general OEM work under the base QMS.
