CNC machining · material documentation
Material traceability, clarified before production
We manufacture custom CNC-machined parts for teams that need clear expectations for material grade, source documents, batch records, and inspection files. Tell us what your order requires, and we’ll review and confirm the documentation scope before quotation or order placement.
Document availability and identification steps depend on the material, supplier, part, and agreed order requirements.

Where clarity matters
Agree the records before the job is released
A drawing may define an alloy or grade, while a purchase specification separately calls for certificates, batch records, or inspection documents. We don’t treat those requirements as interchangeable or automatically included.
Make the material requirement explicit
We review the specified material grade, standard, and any restrictions on approved equivalents against the order request.
Name the document and required fields
Depending on material supply and agreed scope, requested records may include a material test report or mill certificate, certificate of conformity, or other supplier-provided material records.
Set the identification points
If you require identification at receipt, during machining, or at shipment, include the required method and records in your RFQ for review.
Share quality clauses early
We can review supplier qualification, audit expectations, and quality-system requirements alongside your drawing and inspection scope.
Our review process
From material specification to confirmed scope
We assess each request against the part, material, source availability, and customer quality requirements. The applicable identification steps and records must be agreed in advance.
Share your requirements-
1
Review the material and drawing
We check the grade, standard, drawing revision, quantity, and any approved-equivalent restrictions you provide.
-
2
Check requested documents and records
We review the requested certificate type, mandatory fields, batch or lot expectations, and inspection records against material-source availability and order requirements.
-
3
Confirm what is included
We clarify the feasible documentation and identification scope before confirming the quotation or accepting the order.
Traceability scope is order-specific.
We do not assume every job includes full serial-level tracking, digital traceability, or a particular record-retention process. Any such requirements must be raised and confirmed for the order.
Manufacturing capability
CNC processes for custom components
We produce parts to customer drawings using milling, turning, turn-mill machining, automatic turning, and Swiss-type machining. Process selection depends on geometry, material, tolerances, quantity, and inspection requirements.
| Process | Typical components | Project considerations |
|---|---|---|
| CNC milling | Brackets, housings, mounting plates | Multi-sided features, profiles, drawing dimensions |
| CNC turning | Shafts, sleeves, bushings | Concentric features, diameters, threads, surface requirements |
| Turn-mill machining | Parts with turned and milled features | Combined operations where geometry and order requirements suit |
| Swiss-type machining | Small-diameter or slender components | Part size, feature detail, production requirements |
| Automatic turning | Pins and small turned components | Part geometry, quantities, specified dimensional checks |

Inspection resources
Drawing-based verification
We use dimensional inspection equipment to support verification against customer drawings and agreed inspection requirements.
- Coordinate measuring machine
- Optical measuring systems
- Height measuring instruments
- Concentricity instrument
- Surface roughness and hardness testers
- Dimensional gauges
Specify characteristics, sampling details, formats, acceptance criteria, and any requested inspection records in your RFQ. The inspection plan and supplied records must be confirmed for the order.
Quality systems
Quality credentials with project-specific review
Our quality management systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100D, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949. We confirm certification scope and applicability against the specific project and customer requirements.
Certification alone does not establish that a particular material record, traceability method, or regulatory requirement is included in an order.
Project fit
For medical, aerospace, and industrial sourcing
Medical-device and aerospace supply chains may require specific material documents, batch identification, inspection records, or supplier approval evidence. Industrial equipment, automation, electronics, and instrumentation programs may also need documented control of material grade and lot information.
We assess each request against the part, material, source availability, and agreed quality requirements. For design changes or repeat orders, tell us whether the same material standard and documentation scope must apply to every release. We’ll review the requested quality clauses, audit expectations, and supplier requirements before confirming the quotation.

Help us assess feasibility and documentation scope
Send the information your purchasing and quality teams need us to review. Mark requirements that are mandatory for shipment, rather than optional preferences.

Common questions
What to clarify before you order
We’ll work with your team to establish clear expectations for material, records, and inspection scope.
Are material certificates included with every order?
No. The document type and availability depend on the material source and agreed order scope. Identify the certificate type and any required fields in your RFQ so we can review and confirm them.
Can you provide full serial-level or digital traceability?
We do not assume full serial-level tracking, digital traceability, or a particular record-retention process for every job. Share the specific identification points and records you require so we can assess and confirm the scope.
When should we provide inspection and supplier audit requirements?
Include them with the RFQ where possible. We can review quality clauses, audit expectations, inspection criteria, and requested records alongside the drawing and material specification before quotation.
Request a traceability review
Send us your drawing and material requirements
Tell us the material standard, certificate type, batch-traceability expectations, and inspection documents required. We’ll review the information, clarify open points, and confirm the agreed scope before quoting.
Please include any requirements that are mandatory for shipment.
