High-Volume Production
High-Volume Production CNC Machining
For stable, repeat orders, a manufacturing plan has to do more than produce the first batch. We work with OEMs and industrial equipment manufacturers to assess CNC-machined parts for ongoing production, with close attention to process fit, batch consistency, inspection requirements and supply planning.
We offer CNC turning, automatic turning, turn-mill machining, Swiss-type machining and CNC milling. Share your drawings and forecast demand, and we will review the project requirements before preparing a quotation.
Production processes for recurring part requirements
High-volume production can involve repeated batches or a sustained purchasing schedule. The best-fit process depends on part geometry, required tolerances, order pattern and inspection needs. We review those factors to determine which equipment and manufacturing route may suit your parts.
43
CNC lathes
For shafts, sleeves, bushings and other turned components.
30
Automatic lathes
For pins, small turned parts and precision connectors.
15
CNC turn-mill machines
For components combining turned and milled features.
34
CNC machining centers
Listed across 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis categories for housings, brackets, plates and multi-sided parts.
Swiss-type lathes
For small-diameter, slender and complex components.
Gang-type CNC lathes and screw machines
For applicable small parts and threaded components.
This range gives us options to evaluate for different part families. We select equipment based on the component and its production requirements, not simply on the number of machines in our inventory.
What we evaluate before quoting a production program
Batch production should be planned around the actual part and purchasing schedule. During project review, we work through the points below, which help us identify constraints before they become issues during a repeat order.
Any proposed capacity or delivery schedule is confirmed for the specific project. We do not infer monthly output or lead time from equipment totals.
Supporting batch consistency and supply continuity
For repeat production, dimensional variation between batches can lead to assembly problems, added inspection work or rejected parts. We manufacture to customer drawings and technical specifications, and work with you to establish appropriate inspection requirements for each part.
We clarify part requirements, order pattern and inspection expectations during project review. If the design, specification or forecast changes, send the updated information so we can reassess the production plan and quotation.
Inspection resources
- Coordinate measuring machine and optical measuring systems
- Height measurement instruments and a concentricity instrument
- Surface roughness and hardness testers
- Dimensional gauges, thread plug and ring gauges, and pin gauges for applicable features
We select measurement methods according to the drawing and the quality requirements agreed for your project.
Quality management and inspection
Our quality management systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100D, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949. Certification scope should be confirmed against the requirements of your specific project.
We can review drawing-based inspection requirements as part of the quotation process. When you submit your RFQ, please identify any required documentation, traceability expectations, special acceptance criteria or supplier qualification steps.
Is high-volume CNC production right for your parts?
A recurring production program may be a good fit when you need:
- CNC-machined parts ordered on a repeat schedule
- Turned, milled or turn-mill components for OEM or industrial equipment
- A supplier able to review a family of parts across multiple machining processes
- Drawing-based production with defined dimensional and inspection requirements
- A manufacturing partner to assess projected demand before a production commitment
If your design is still changing, we can also review prototype or early-stage requirements alongside your expected production schedule.
Request a high-volume production assessment
To help us evaluate your project, include the following details with your inquiry:
- Part drawings and applicable revisions
- Material specifications
- Forecast quantities and expected order frequency
- Critical dimensions, tolerances and surface requirements
- Inspection, documentation and traceability requirements
- Target timing or any planned production releases
We will review the information, clarify open requirements and assess the project's process and production fit before quoting.
