Material machining

Stainless Steel

YJCNC manufactures custom stainless steel components to customer drawings and technical specifications. With CNC milling, turning, turn-mill, and Swiss-type machining, we work with customers to match the part design, material requirements, and inspection needs to an appropriate production process.

From prototypes and development parts to repeat orders and production runs, our team supports projects through engineering communication and drawing-based quality verification.

Discuss a Stainless Steel Part

Machining capabilities

Multiple processes for custom components

Choose a machining route based on part geometry, dimensions, tolerances, and order requirements. The right process is reviewed against your drawings and specifications.

CNC milling

Brackets, housings, mounting plates, and multi-sided components.

CNC turning

Shafts, bushings, sleeves, and other turned components.

Turn-mill machining

Parts combining turned features with milled details.

Swiss-type machining

Small precision and slender components, subject to project requirements.

Material considerations

Specify the grade and requirements for your application

Stainless steel grades differ in composition, corrosion resistance, strength, and machining behavior. Selection depends on the service environment and the component’s functional requirements; the grade should be confirmed in the drawing or project specification.

Machining details such as feature geometry, wall thickness, threads, surface finish, and tolerance stack-up can influence process planning. Stainless steel may work-harden during machining, so suitable tooling and controlled cutting conditions are important considerations during production planning.

Share the material designation, critical dimensions, finish requirements, and expected order volume so the manufacturing approach can be reviewed against the complete part specification.

Equipment quantities are based on YJCNC’s listed inventory. Project suitability, production capacity, and tolerances are evaluated against the specific part requirements.

Inspection and quality

Verification aligned to your drawing

Quality is integrated into YJCNC’s manufacturing operations. Our inspection resources support dimensional and drawing-based verification, with the inspection approach established according to the part’s critical features and project requirements.

Available equipment includes a coordinate measuring machine, optical measuring systems, height measuring instruments, surface roughness and hardness testers, and precision dimensional gauges.

Quality management systems

YJCNC operates under quality management systems certified to:

  • ISO 9001
  • ISO 13485
  • AS9100D
  • ISO 14001
  • IATF 16949

Certification scope and applicability should be confirmed for the specific project and customer requirements.

Project collaboration

From engineering drawings to precision-machined components

YJCNC works with OEMs, industrial equipment manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, aerospace and defense suppliers, and engineering teams seeking custom components. Effective communication helps clarify material, geometry, inspection, and order requirements before production.
